1) 3-chloro-N-(3-hydroxyphenyl) propionamide 20mmol m-aminophenol was dissolved in dichloromethane, 20mmol triethylamine was added dropwise, 22mmol 3-chloropropionyl chloride was added dropwise with stirring at room temperature, and the drop was completed, Stir at room temperature for 10 h. Deionized water was washed three times, and the organic phase was separated by column chromatography to give 68% 3-chloro-N-(3-hydroxyphenyl)propanamide. (2) 3,4-Dihydro-7-hydroxy-2(1H)-Chemicalbook Quinolinone Dimethylacetamide was placed in a three-necked flask, reacted at 150 °C for 5 hours, slowly added dropwise 20 mL of ice water to cool, continued to heat to 90 °C and stirred for 1 hour, cooled to room temperature, filtered to obtain a red solid, and column chromatography obtained 88% of 3,4-Dihydro-7-hydroxy-2(1H)-quinolinone.
