Preparation method:MgCl2 (22.2g, 233.35mmol) and triethylamine (59.03g, 583.39mmol) were added to the stirred acetonitrile (200ml) solution of 2-chlorophenol (20.0g, 155.60mmol) at room temperature. Add poly (chemicalbook formaldehyde, 0.52g, 1.05mol) to the mixture, and then reflux for 4 hours. The resulting mixture was cooled to room temperature, quenched with 2nhcl, extracted with ether, dried with MgSO4, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure. The crude compound was purified by silica gel column chromatography to obtain the title compound 3-chloro-2-hydroxybenzene.
