  • Welcome to buy N-(Hydroxymethyl)phthalimide CAS 118-29-6 from us. It is derived from the reaction between phthalimide and formaldehyde. Add formaldehyde to the reaction pot, add water to make the formaldehyde into a concentration of about 12%. Throw in phthalimide under stirring, and the dosage is phthalimide: formaldehyde=1:1.1 (molar ratio). The temperature was raised to 98-102°C, refluxed for 2.5h, cooled to 35°C, centrifugally filtered, and dried to obtain the finished product.
